Born in UK, raised in Rio de Janeiro. An entrepreneur with 25 years digital experience and deep knowledge of the online medium, combined with ambition and a track record in the creative industries. A former digital nomad who loves travel and Briard dogs.
For over a decade in London, Bernardo worked at some of the largest digital creative companies such as DDB London, SapientNitro and AgencyRepublic. After 3 years as a Live TV Ops Director at Bloomberg Television London, he landed his first creative agency job at DigitasLbi, where he helped delivering a £2M web project for Shell.com. Since then, Bernardo has launched global products and campaigns for brands such as Coca-cola, Yahoo and Nissan.
As an entrepreneur, Bernardo launched in 2007 a digital media production agency: Bravo Media delivering key campaigns for various London West End Musicals such as Billy Elliot and Hairspray.
After a 6-month period in Australia in 2016, Bernardo returned to Latin America with a new idea: a Global Network for Digital Professionals: TheBridge.social. The company received investment from Latin America’s biggest accelerator: Startup Chile.
Bernardo founded, bootstrapped and built the global digital talent network as a solo founder, into a 300-strong team in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and USA working with clients from all all over the world.
In only 7 years from founding the company, they achieved a highly-successful exit (2023) being acquired by Gi Group Holding - the Italian 3-Billion Euros HR conglomerate.
Today Bernardo is dedicated to helping The Bridge expanding to new heights, speaking at global events, investing and supporting other startups on their growth.
